I am organising a performance for young people and have been told that all of the children need to be licensed but where do I start?
This is the Children and Young Persons Act 1963, and each local authority is in charge of regulating licenses for young people to perform, including dance performances. It is important to note that each local authority has a slightly different way of approaching this. It is best to contact your local Child Employment Officer.
