U.Dance East 2012 – dance groups announced
Eight dance groups from the region have been selected by a panel of judges to take part in U.Dance East 2012.
The groups are:
- Bedfordshire Youth Dance Company (Bedfordshire)
- Big Sky Dance (Norfolk)
- Hertfordshire Youth Dance Company: InPulse (Hertfordshire)
- Impington Youth Dance (Cambridgeshire)
- SCAMBS (Cambridgeshire)
- St. Bernard's Dance Company (Essex)
- Suffolk Youth Dance Company (Suffolk)
- Venom (Cambridgeshire)
U.Dance East 2012 takes place at Swavesey Village College, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday 17 March.
U.Dance is a national programme run by Youth Dance England, the national organisation that champions dance for all children and young people.
U.Dance stimulates performance opportunities by:
- Supporting existing events, encouraging new partnerships and new developments.
- Helping to create new performance opportunities aiming to give all young people the chance to perform.
