SlantedDance get moving this summer
Norwich based dance company slanteddance have been busy over the summer providing fantastic dance workshops for the young people of Norfolk.
The senior participants undertook workshops in jazz, street, musical theatre and contemporary. The workshops were led by slanteddance company members as well as guest tutors from a range of leading national companies and dancers. Including those from Cheryl Cole’s video, Richard Alston, Boy Blue Entertainment, Pineapple Dance Group, Motionhouse and Stella Mann College.
The juniors excelled creativity as they enthusiastically undertook dance and singing workshops, with the highlight being the composition of their own song and dance.
Young people from as young as 4 took part in the summer school right up to the more experienced 24 year olds.
The two weeks culminated in 3 performances at the end of each week.
