Youth Dance England and other partners have lots of schemes and initiatives that you can be involved in.

YDE Young Creatives

YDE Young Creatives is an annual project that focuses on choreographers aged 15 to 19 (24 years for people with disabilities), providing them with mentoring, residential workshops and seminars, and phenomenal performance opportunities.

National Young Dance Ambassadors

YDE has launched England’s first National Young Dance Ambassadors scheme with a group of seven young people taking the helm. These recruits, all YDE past participants, will act as ambassadors for young people’s dance and for the organisation nationally, communicating the voice of young people and working with YDE on various aspects from advising on programme development, to blogging and promoting YDE’s work in schools and at events.

Youth Dance Directory

The Youth Dance Directory is a free national interactive resource aimed to connect all people and organisations involved in children and young people’s dance. Thousands of people and organisations have already registered and are using the directory as a valuable resource not only to promote themselves, but also to form a network of connections in the youth dance sector, regionally and nationally.
